Tuscola’s Symphonic/Concert Band regularly entertains local Haywood County audiences with concerts throughout the year. Two favorites include:

Tuscola’s concert bands have participated in the North Carolina Bandmasters Association’s (NCBMA) Spring MPA (Musical Performance Adjudication) concerts for about eight decades.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the Spring 2026 MPA performance at Mars Hill University the Tuscola Symphonic Band continued it’s strong tradition of musical excellence, bringing home the highest possible judges rating – SUPERIOR! The Symphonic Band garnered a superior from every judge for all of the pieces they performed, and for sight reading.
