Tuscola’s Winter Guard competed January 27, 2024 at the CWEA Dorman Premiere Competition taking home 1st in their class – 2nd highest score out of 64 guards – with a score of 70.12! An outstanding early season score! And so much more room to grow. Keep your eyes out for what’s to come. These beautiful people are amazing. Go Mounties!
Five Tuscola Band members were selected for the Western North Carolina All District Band! These five fantastic people performed their All-District concert on Saturday February 10, 2024 at the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center at Mars Hill University.
We are supper proud of these Mounties!! Congratulations Keegan Kirkpatrick on Oboe, Bella Williams on Horn, Chelsea Smith on Mallets, Alicia Mills on Trumpet, and Addie Schmersahl on the double bass!! Give them a shout out!!
